RUDY studied Architecture in Singapore and Australia. He graduated top of his cohort and was conferred Valedictorian in 2008.
As Managing Director, Rudy leads project teams for both architectural and interior design projects in Singapore and beyond. His practical tenacity and attention to detail also make him a natural leader in the areas of design and project management.
Rudy is an advocate of architectural excellence and education, and spends his time educating and mentoring the next generation of design professionals.
He is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Singapore Polytechnic, and Visiting Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) in Rwanda.
Rudy also holds ASEAN APEC Architect registration — which enables him to practice architecture in Southeast Asian and Asia-Pacific countries.
His strong sense of design and international experience offers versatility and a unique approach to his works.

BAO YAN is a successful entrepreneur who started her first business twenty years ago as an undergraduate and has, since joining Genesis Architects, expanded our community development efforts and pioneered special projects spanning from education to feeding programs, as well as a growing number of social infrastructures with the aim of transformational mission.
Since the full-scale invasion started in 2022, Bao Yan has led several strategic high-impact missions into Ukraine and, together with Rudy, the couple has built more than 500 emergency insulated houses in frontline villages, and have implemented social programs supporting women with crisis pregnancies and families of fallen soldiers, as well as medical missions — among other things.
Her strong sense of social justice and compassion, coupled with her vision to use architecture and infrastructure as a tool for transformation is invaluable in making Genesis Architects a key leader in the area of community development globally.
